Killian (he/him) is an independent Creative Producer and Actor working with a variety of different independent artists and companies between Ireland and the UK.
Killian began his producing career with an adaptation of Donal Ryan’s debut novel, The Spinning Heart, which began life at Smock Alley Theatre in 2016 before transferring to the Gaiety Theatre in 2017.
That same year, he joined Reality:Check Productions as Executive Producer and worked with the company to produce plays such as the Irish Times award- winning Disco Pigs & Sucking Dublin by Enda Walsh, Debris by Denis Kelly, Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh (adapted by Harry Gibson) and the Irish premiere production of the critically acclaimed Iphigenia in Splott by Gary Owen.
In 2019 Killian teamed up with Talking Shop Ensemble and Run of the Mill Theatre to produce Making A Mark by Shaun Dunne — a documentary style, autobiographical piece that places the voice and lived experience of an artist with an intellectual disability front and centre stage — as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival 2019. Making A Mark went on to be nominated for 4 awards at the festival, winning the Judge’s Choice Award.
Most recently, Killian worked with writer Shaun Dunne and director Darren Thornton to bring Restoration — a new play exploring the politics of restorative practice and youth work in Ireland — to sell out audiences at Project Arts Centre Space Upstairs in January 2020.

“a wonderfully moving, politically challenging, and powerfully unsettling experience. Prepare to beshaken out of your comfort zone.” – The Arts Review (Iphigenia in Splott by Gary Owen)

There’s a dark heartbreak at the centre of “We Can’t Have Monkeys In The House” which its wild, delicious humour wonderfully underscores. Something its four strong cast dazzlingly convey, as well as delivering some laugh out loud moments. — The Arts Review (We Can’t Have Monkeys in the House by Ciara Elizabeth Smyth)
Currently, Killian is continuing his work alongside Shaun Dunne on the development of two new productions — Decoys and This Solution — due to premiere sometime in 2022, while also working with Talking shop Ensemble and Run of the Mill Theatre on a national tour of Making A Mark, launching in Dublin in March 2022.
This year, Killian for the first time will team up with writer director Louise White on an exciting new production entitled Privilege: The Musical! — a soul searching, riotous show about power and hope — which will premiere sometime in 2022.
