Mags Keohane is company producer of Dublin based theatre company Dead Centre. Founded in 2012 by Bush Moukarzel and Ben Kidd, Dead Centre has gained a reputation as one of Europe’s most innovative and exciting young theatre companies. Mags has worked on Dead Centre’s recent premiere of Good Sex at Dublin Theatre Festival 2022 and Dead Centre touring productions including Chekhov’s First Play to MESS Festival, Sarajevo 2021, To Be a Machine (Version 1.0) to Le Cent-Quatre, Paris 2021 and Beckett’s Room to Theatre de Liege, Belgium and Warwick Arts Centre, UK in 2021 and to Teatro del Piccolo, Milan in 2022.
As an Independent Producer Mags works across theatre, dance and interdisciplinary performance. Recent credits include Opening Night by Jane Deasy (Dublin Fringe Festival 2022, Winner: Best Design), Also for Roaring by Roisin Stack (Black Box Theatre, 2021) In It For The Long Run with Cork Dance Initiative (Cork Midsummer Festival 2021), Spliced by writer-performer Timmy Creed (Cork Midsummer 2018 & Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019). Recent productions for young audiences include The Dead Letter Office by Mary-Lou McCarthy (A Co-Production with The Civic & The Everyman, Cork, 2022) and Making Waves by Jess Rowell touring in 2023.
